Resumo.A perícia médico legal tem a função de estabelecer a forma e a causa da morte.Baseado nesses dados, a justiça atua condenando os culpados pelos crimes. O objetivo deste trabalho é descrever uma patologia frequentemente encontrada no instituto médico legal, o hematoma subdural agudo, e com isso debater suas causas raras, não traumáticas.Realizou-se uma pesquisa na literatura nacional e internacional utilizando o banco de dados MEDLINE, sendo selecionados 11 artigos sobre o assunto, publicados nos últimos 16 anos.O exame pericial na Medicina Legal deve ser muito criterioso para evitar conclusões indevidas pela justiça.Palavras-chave: Necropsia forense; Hematoma subdural; Hematoma subdural espontâneo; Hematoma subdural agudo não traumático; Aneurisma cerebral. Abstract.Legal medical expertise has the function to establish the form and the cause of death. Based on these data, justice acts condemning the perpetrators of the crimes. The objective of this study is describe a condition often found in the Legal Medical Institute, the acute subdural hematoma, thus discuss their rare causes, not traumatic. The methodology carried out a search in national and international literature using the database MEDLINE, being selected 11 articles on the subject published in the last 16 years. The expert examination in Legal Medicine must be very careful to avoid undue conclusions by justice.

RESUMOO hematoma subdural crônico é uma patologia neurocirúrgica rara em crianças. Aqui relatamos um caso em que esta enfermidade estava associada à miíase subcutânea adjacente, evidenciando um problema social por trás da afecção neurocirúrgica. ABSTRACTChronic subdural hematoma is a rare neurosurgical pathology in children. We report a case in which this disease was associated with adjacent subcutaneous myiasis, highlighting a social problem behind the neurosurgical disease.No segundo dia de pós-operatório o enfermo foi extubado com completa reversão neurológica e radiológica do quadro. No 15º dia a melhora gradativa da lesão cutânea se tornou evidente.
