The testing of a solar panels and photovoltaic cells as well is a very interesting method of NDTs (non destructive techniques) allowing the fast and safe inspection. Measuring method uses infrared thermography and this is known more than 10 years and is becoming increasingly important standard. Accurate thermographic images of photovoltaic cells reveal quickly and purposefully for example shunt effects, short circuits, faulty contacts etc.
In this project, the aim is to investigate the mechanism of action of carbon in negative electrodes of VRLA cells operating under hybrid vehicle (HEV) duty in the partial state of charge (PSoC) regime. This will contribute to the efforts to increase their specific energy and cycle life, and to elucidation of the causes of their premature capacity loss (PCL3).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
