SUMMARY
Information about the properties of materials in acoustic microscopy can be obtained in the form of the V(Z) curves. The purpose of this paper is to present the theoretical and experimental study of the V(Z) curve formation for solid spheres. It is shown that an investigation of the position of different peaks in the V(Z) curves is useful to determine the size and acoustical properties of a spherical particle.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
