ResumoObjetivou-se avaliar o processo de solidariedade entre alunos do IFES Santa Teresa de modo a detectar se os alunos reflexionam acerca de sua autoimagem e se são capazes de identificar as diversas formas de solidariedade existente entre as pessoas. A pesquisa partiu de um desenho não experimental, descritiva e exploratória, com abordagem quali-quantitativa. A amostra foi aleatória, sendo apresentada às turmas a proposta de investigação, deixandose à vontade de cada aluno a participação. A investigação foi realizada com entrevista e análise através da elaboração de gráficos representativos dos dados coletados, em que observamos que a solidariedade deve ser um ponto fundamental e de equilibro na formação do aluno tanto no âmbito escolar como na sociedade de maneira geral.Palavras chave: Escola. AbstractThis study aimed to evaluate the process of solidarity among students of IFES, Santa Teresa, in order to detect whether students reflect about their selfimages and are able to identify the various forms of solidarity among people. The research started from a non-experimental, descriptive and exploratory design with quali-quantitative approach. The sample was random, being presented to the class the research proposal, leaving it to the will of each student participation. The research was conducted with interviews, analysis and through the development of representative graphs of the data collected, where we observe that solidarity should be a key point and balance in the Conhecimento & Diversidade, Niterói, v. 9, n. 19, p. 155-166, out./dez. 2017 157 student's education, both in schools and in society at large.
