This research aims to develop a management model for the maintenance of 60Kv voltage transformers considering as phases the good practices of the PMBOK regarding costs and times. The problem observed in this type of process occurs in the drying of the transformer, since it is one of the activities that consumes the most time during maintenance. For this, a management model was developed that optimizes the transformer drying process; which allows maintenance to be carried out within the factory facilities; which was achieved with new procedures to eliminate the humidity contained in the insulating parts of the transformer based on the optimization of the physical-chemical process of the transformer oil, obtaining as a result a reduction of the total maintenance time of 13 days, guaranteeing the optimal operation of the transformer and the reduction of operating costs.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
