In classroom learning, students frequently face challenges to understand the material since the learning media deviates from the subject content. The media usage as an intermediary for delivering information makes it more varied, easy to understand, and interactive. Utilizing web-based learning media promises the independence of time and place and helps the learning process. This study aims to develop a web-based digital system learning media that is feasible and useful. The study uses the waterfall model software development method, namely the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). The findings indicate that the web-based digital system learning media is feasible and useful in the learning process.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar computer dan jaringan dasar siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah Naha melalui Penerapan model demonstrasi. Subyek dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas X TKJ yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dimana data diperoleh setelah dilakukan setelah tindakan berupa penerapan model pembelajaran demonstrasi, dilaksanan dalam dua siklus untuk mencapai ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal yaitu 75% dari siswa kelas X telah memperoleh nilai minimal ≥75. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa penerpan model pembelajaran demonstrasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, hal ini berdasarkan data yang diperoleh pada siklus I dengan hasil sebanyak 13 siswa tuntas belajar dengan presentasi keberhasilan 43% sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 28 siswa tuntas belajar dengan presentasi keberhasilan adalah 93% berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran demonstrasi dapat meningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X TKJ SMK Muhammadiyah Naha.
Recently, numerous web-based applications with attractive user interface, brand-new and advanced features, and friendly operation are rapidly developed and widely used, particularly in education context. This study aims to produce web-based learning media that are feasible for delivering materials of web programming subject. The course material of this subject is Hypertext Markup Language (HTML).This study is located at Manado State University, at the study program of information and communication technology. The method of this study employs the research and development model. The data were obtained by four questionnaires, including (1) the feasibility testing by the lecturer, (2) the media expert feasibility testing, (3) the materials expert feasibility testing, and (4) the students’ feasibility testing. Based on the experimental results, it can be stated that the developed web learning is considered useful. It can be concluded that the web-based learning media is feasible to be used and effectively improve the quality of learning.
