This article reported a method to prepare high quality of factor VIII by Q Sepharose TM Fast Flow. Results indicated that the specific activity of the FVIII obtained was varying between 55 and 103 IU/mg of protein. This means that this procedure could provide at least 458-to 858-fold purer FVIII compared with the original plasma with a recovery rate approximately 71.2 %. The procedure is easily applicable to large-scale production of FVIII with acceptable recovery.
