A rapid chemical method has been developed for the synthesis of the Ag 2 Te nanorods with monoclinic crystalline phase. The method is based on the template-engaged synthesis in which the Te nanorods were used as template reagents. On the basis of a series of experiments and characterizations, the effect factors and the formation mechanism of the Ag 2 Te nanorods were discussed. Furthermore, the electrochemical property of the Ag 2 Te nanorods was determined by the voltammetric technique.
Herein, the infrared-responsive photocatalyst NaYF4:Yb,Tm@ZnO has been successfully synthesized by combining semiconductor ZnO with an upconversion material, NaYF4:Yb,Tm.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
