<div><div><div><div><p>We present a first-ever waveform-tracking receiver (RX) with type-II phase-tracking loop. In this preprint, a novel nonlinear filter in the feedback path is proposed to obtain better interference rejection performance. This digital nonlinear filter assists the receiver with tracking the waveform intelligently by predicting the incoming symbols; hence, we define this proposed RX as a waveform-tracking (WT)-RX. The simulation and preliminary measurement results are demonstrated in this paper. Moreover, we explore the issues of the current version WT-RX to provide guidance on possible future follow-up activities.</p></div></div></div></div>

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
