Departing from the aporetic nature of the dominant discourse around post-truth, its use is examined as a rhetorical stratagem that has a strong ideological baggage and is linked to conservative and regressive ways of thinking, in the theoretical and social as well as political and cultural realms. As a way of conclusion, the article proposes a dialectical approach to the notion of post-truth, that is, an approach that takes into account its rhetorical, political, material and ideological dimensions.
as part of their professional routine, Spanish journalists are gradually joining the ranks of active users of social networks like Twitter 1. Following some on-the-fly strategy or just winging it, and fully putting into practice the idea that "one must be where the people are," they distribute information coming from their own media, viralize information from other users/media, editorialize as they go, sum up daily life or shoot the breeze about a variety of topics. This paper presents the results of an in-depth survey conducted among 50 Spanish journalists with active professional profiles on Twitter 2. The aim of the survey was to find out how they are using this social media at work, how they feel about it and what their expectations are.

Transmediality in Digital EnvironmentsAbstract This article explores some structural features of the so-called "transmedia storytelling". In order to progress towards a conceptual clarification, the Internet has to be considered as a mass media with specific and privative traits that would define the "form of the media": global, viral, participative, continuous (or almost), mobile, pervasive, pragmatically oriented etc. Some opinions of professionals related to the field have also been taken into account and are presented here. As a conclusion we offer a tentative definition of "transmedia storytelling" from a processual perspective.
