Vasopressin has long been used in myomectomy to decrease blood loss. Its efficacy is beyond doubt. But at the same time it is known to cause some of the serious cardiovascular side effects. We here report a case of severe bradycardia and impending cardiac arrest caused by intra-myometrial infiltration of 12 U of vasopressin and present a review of literature.

Endometrial stromal sarcoma are rare malignant tumours of the uterus, mainly presenting in premenopausal women, make around 0.2% of all uterine malignancies. The annual incidence of ESS is 1-2 per million women. Diagnosis is usually made post operatively by pathological findings either in endometrial sample or in hysterectomy specimen done for some underlying pathology. Management is total hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo oophorectomy with hormone therapy in hormone sensitive cases. Ovaries can be preserved in young females with early-stage disease. We are presenting a case of endometrial stromal nodule in a 38 years old woman who presented to us with complaint of abnormal heavy uterine bleeding for one and half month.

Hyperprolactinemia and Hypothyroidism adversely affects the fertility potential. The aim of our study was to assess the correlation between the Prolactin and Thyroid hormone levels amongst infertile females after excluding tubal and male factor. This hospital based descriptive study was conducted on 50 patients attending infertility clinic in Zenana Hospital, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, SMS Medical College, Jaipur from Jan 2015 to Jan 2016. Hyperprolactinemia was observed in 64% of the infertile cases in our study. In our study 27 female had hypothyroidism, out of which 74.07% had subclinical hypothyroidism and 25.93% had overt hypothyroidism.18%of patients had both Hypothyroidism & Hyperprolactinemia. 33.3% of hypothyroid females had hyperprolactinemia. 28.3% of hyperprolactinemic patients had hypothyroidism. Hence, measurement of both S.TSH and S. Prolactin levels should be done in infertility work up and treatment should be initiated accordingly to fulfill a woman's dream of motherhood.
