Today's world is absorbed by digital technology and developments. From daily bread to business, from home to office, the implementation of electronic devices has become an integral part of life. The wallet has transformed the global payments ecosystem by offering multiple digital services, from utility payments to e-tailing. After demonetization, e-payment systems, mainly mobile wallets, have become a popular means of conducting transactions without physical presence. This study was conducted on consumer preferences, satisfaction, and issues when using mobile wallets for cashless payment. The study used the chi-square method to analyze and interpret the primary data of 80 respondents. The study implies that today's life is more important to mobile wallets such as Paytm, MobiKwik, Bhim, and free charge.
The war between Russia and Ukraine negatively impacts growth and results in a high inflation rate in the global village. In 2021, Ukraine exported $2.6B to India and imported $509.94M. During the same period, bilateral trade totaled $12.3 billion, with Indian exports totaling $3.33 billion and imports totaling $8.7 billion. The last three months, foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) pulled out of Indian markets — Rs. 50,000 crores more than the combined withdrawal of the previous nine months. As the weakened rupee made imports more expensive, the rise in crude oil prices worsened things. Brent crude prices, which hovered around $80 a barrel in early 2022, shot up to $128 a barrel in the wake of the Russian invasion. The heat of the Russo-Ukrainian war is now reaching citizens in India and around the world. This article is an overview of the aftermath of the Russia-Ukraine war on the Indian economy.
This study aims to define essential principles that the organization must follow in labour welfare during COVID-19. It is a vital facet of industrial relations, the extra dimension that provides satisfaction to workers in a way that no amount of money can do so. The government initiates statutory laws from time to time to bring about some uniformity in the basic facilities provided to industrial workers since it is not confident that all employers are progressive and provide basic welfare measures. Industrial hygiene has been defined as science and art devoted to the anticipation, recognition, evaluation, and control of those environmental factors or stress arising in or from the workplace, which may cause sickness, impaired health, and significant stress among workers or the citizens of the community. Because it is a labor-intensive sector, it has a greater emphasis on employee welfare. The authors choose a bakery industry personnel's stress analysis during COVID-19 for this research work.
The primary objective of this study is to evaluate and analyse the significance of the Sustainable Livelihoods Approach (SLA) and its application to rural development projects and policies. A literature review is conducted, with the primary focus being on the primary components of the SLA. The researchers noted that the SLA effectively interrogates the livelihoods of the poor and the various mechanisms in the approach. These mechanisms include all forms of capital, the vulnerability aspect, livelihood strategies, and outcomes, as well as the different laws and regulations governing the access and use of resources. The research also noted that the SLA effectively addresses the poor’s vulnerabilities. Scholarly heavy hitters like Chambers and Scoones (1992) have pointed out that this method is all-encompassing and hierarchical. The methodology has demonstrated in a theoretical sense that it is beneficial in understanding the livelihoods problem of the less fortunate in rural communities. It is strongly suggested that the government and its development partners adopt and incorporate the SLA into their policies to ensure sustainable livelihoods leading to sustainable development.
We are starting to understand better what it takes to achieve sustainability and peace, down to the underlying beliefs and behaviours and the incentives that drive people to work toward achieving them. The idea of "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Leads to Sustainability and Peace" is still largely misunderstood and is typically portrayed in a pessimistic light as only the absence of violent conflict. The conventional wisdom holds that we can only successfully nurture and uphold peace and sustainability if we completely understand the complexity of violence, conflict, and sustainability. Since we are not taught anything about peace and sustainability at school, we tend to focus our thoughts on violent conflict and aggressive behaviour rather than on how to end these potentially disastrous behaviour patterns (Coleman, 2012). According to this point of view, a conflict management method known as precluding is implemented to cope with the destructive dynamics of disagreements after they have come into existence. Typically, this is accomplished through a series of speedy, externally-motivated fixes. Eventually, that leads to sustainability at the core of the approach. In order to address the current lack of peace and sustainability in the world, the purpose of this research is to evaluate the concept of prevention from the point of view of conflict resolution rather than conflict avoidance based on innovation and entrepreneurship. The ultimate objective is to reach the end of an agreement over the nature of the actions that need to be taken globally to preserve peace and sustainability. And avoid violence successfully for the prosperity of one and all across the globe, considering The phrase "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" means "World is one Family" from Maha Upanishad (Brown, B. 1922) fits the modern global corporate culture.
