Most corn planted on tropical acidic soils suffers substantial yield loss caused by low crop phosphorus (P) uptake. Humic acid is recommended to increase crop P uptake since it is capable of competing with P to be bound to soil adsorption complexes. Humic acid extracted from composted manure (MHA) is a good alternative to humic acid because it is more reactive and has a higher complexation ability compared with leonardite. Therefore, the effectiveness of soil-applied MHA combined with P was evaluated to improve corn yields in acidic soils from the aspect of crop nutrient uptake efficiency and crop physiological performance. Two high-yielding corn cultivars that are highly accepted by Indonesian farmers and resistant to downy mildew disease were subjected to five different types of MHA and P combinations. The amount of P fertilizer was equivalent to 120 mg P2O5 kg−1 soil. The H10P1 produced the most significant result p < 0.05 in terms of total crop dry weight, grain dry weight, and corn yield. The highest efficiency for P uptake in the leaves and grains was found with H10P1 and H5P1, respectively. Although chlorophyll content was not substantially improved, the stomatal apertures 7 weeks after planting (WAP) were significantly increased p < 0.05 with H10P1 and H15P1. The photosynthetic rate and nitrate reductase (NR) activity at 10 WAP were significantly increased p < 0.05 with H5P1 and H10P1, respectively. The results clearly indicated significant increases in the efficiency of crop P uptake and physiological performance for stomatal aperture, photosynthetic rate, and NR activity can highly contribute to higher corn yields.
The main constraint in the extensification of maize on the dry land of acid soil is the low availability of P in soil. This study aimed to determine the effect and the optimal dose of humic acid on the growth and yield of maize on acid soil. This research was conducted from February to May 2017 at Tri Dharma Field Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Gadjah Mada University. Acid soil with low P availability used was from sub-district Cigudeg and Jasinga, West Java. The research was arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 2 factors. The first factor was maize cultivar, namely Bisi 2 and Pioneer 35. The second factor was the rate of humic acid and NPK fertilizer, consisting of 0 kg.ha-1 (without) NPK and 0% (without) humic acid, NPK + 0% (without) humic acid, NPK + 5% humic acid, NPK + 10% humic acid, and NPK + 15% humic acid. NPK fertilizer applied was NPK 16:16:16 at a dose of 350 kg.ha-1. The results showed that humic acid application on acid soil increased C-humic content in the soil, soil P availability, total dry weight of the plant, and kernel dry weight at harvest (15 weeks after planting). The increase in soil P availability did not improve the plant growth but increased the accumulation of plant biomass. The application of humic acid at 15% (52.5 kg.ha-1) combined with NPK fertilizer on acid soil significantly increased total dry weight of plant and kernel dry weight up to 13.14% and 21.81%, respectively, thus, it is recommended for maize cultivation on acid soil.

Pemerintah Kota Bandung merupakan salah satu daerah yang telah berinovasi dalam hal pelayanan akta kelahiran. Melalui Dinas Kependudukan dan Catatan Sipil (Disdukcapil), Pemerintah Kota Bandung melakukan upaya peningkatan kepemilikan akta kelahiran melalui inovasi Memberikan Pelayanan Keliling “Jemput Bola” (Mepeling “Jemput Bola”) Akta Kelahiran. Berbagai strategi yang dapat dilakukan dalam meningkatkan pelayanan akta kelahiran, diantaranya dalam hal Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM), sarana dan prasarana, serta sosialisasi yang tepat sasaran.
This study aims to describe the development of modules, validation of module development, and improve the learning outcomes of contextual based narrative writing. This research was conducted in class X SMK Ar-Rahman, Medan.The method used is a research and development method. Researchers use expert/expert validation and students to produce products and test the effectiveness of the product.The results obtained from this study: first, the development of contextual writing narrative essay writing modules is needed and appropriate by both teachers and students in the learning process.Second, the results of the validation carried out by experts / experts on the contextual writing narrative essay writing module are very good and worthy of being used as modules with an average percentage rating of 86% and are in the category of "very good", the results of individual trials obtained an average value an average of 87%, the results of small group trials obtained an average value of 88%, and the results of limited field trials obtained an average value of 92%.Third, the development of contextual writing narrative essay writing modules can improve student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the average pretest score of 61, while the average posttest score of 88 with an effectiveness level of 88% is in the "very good" category. Keywords: development, module, writting narrative essays, contextual Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan modul, validasi pengembangan modul, dan meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis karangan narasi berbasis kontekstual. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas X SMK Ar-Rahman, Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan. Peneliti menggunakan validasi pakar/ahli dan siswa untuk menghasilkan produk serta menguji keefektifan produk. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini: pertama, pengembangan modul menulis karangan narasi berbasis kontekstual sangat dibutuhkan dan sesuai oleh guru maupun siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Kedua, hasil validasi yang dilakukan oleh pakar/ahli terhadap modul menulis karangan narasi berbasis kontekstual bernilai sangat baik dan layak digunakan sebagai modul dengan presentase penilaian rata-rata sebesar 86% dan berada pada kategori “sangat baik”, hasil uji coba perorangan diperoleh nilai rata-rata 87%, hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh nilai rata-rata 88%, dan hasil uji coba lapangan terbatas diperoleh nilai rata-rata 92%. Ketiga, pengembangan modul menulis karangan narasi berbasis kontekstual dinyatakan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 61, sedangkan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 88 dengan tingkat efektivitas 88% berada pada kategori “sangat baik”. Penelitian berbasis pengabdian masyarakat ini mengimplementasikan desain antenna untuk televisi pada frekuensi 470 – 890 MHz, dan perancangan robotic sederhana yakni Line Follower Robot, Brushbot, dan Waterlamp. Implementasi abdima untuk desain antenna dan robot sederhana ini bertempat di Sekolah Tunas Alam Bekasi, yakni tempat belajar disekitar pembuangan sampah, Bantar Gebang. </strong><strong>Pada paper ini </strong><strong>dianalisa lebih khusus mengenai desain antenna untuk TV yakni jenis yagi yang bekerja pada frekuensi 470 – 890 MHz dengan menggunakan dua bahan material yang berbeda. This community-based research implements antenna design for television at frequencies from 470 - 890 MHz, and simple robotic design of Line Follower Robot, </strong><strong>Brushbot, dan Waterlamp. </strong><strong>Implementation abdima for design of antenna and simple robot is located at Sekolah Tunas Alam Bekasi, which is place to learn around garbage disposal, Bantar Gebang. In this paper we analyzed more specifically about the design of antenna for TV that is yagi type that work on frequency 470 - 890 MHz by using two different material. Materials to be used are aluminum and copper. This difference in permitability value (ε) from aluminum and copper material will produce several different antenna parameters, including VSWR, S-Parameter, Farfield and Gain.
