Here, we present the new method of approximate conformal mapping of the unit disk to a one-connected domain with smooth boundary without auxiliary constructions and iterations. The mapping function is a Taylor polynomial. The method is applicable to elasticity problems solution.
We present the spline-interpolation approximate solution of the Dirichlet problem for the Laplace equation in the bodies of revolution, cones and cylinders. Our method is based on reduction of the 3D problem to the sequence of 2D Dirichlet problems. The main advantage of the spline-interpolation solution of the 3D Dirichlet problem is its continuity in the whole domain up to the boundary even for the case of the linear spline.1991 Mathematics Subject Classification. 97I80;35J25.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
