This paper studied two balancing problems of the automobile assembly line, built balancing mathematic model of the assembly line by the linear programming theory. The mathematic models were applied to the automobile chassis assembly line of one automobile company. It could be divided into the following steps: the assembly content was first converted into a priority relation map of the work sequence, meanwhile, the corresponding assembly data was stored into a text file for the coming reading, the LINGO8.0 was used to make program according to those two mathematic models, then the minimum working station number and optimization product time was calculated respectively, finally the balancing delay guide line was used to estimate the conditions and determine whether the balance demands were satisfied.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
