The HO2 + SO2 → HOSO + 3O2 reaction without and with (H2O)n (n = 1–3) have been investigated using CCSD(T)/CBS//M06-2X/aug-cc-pVTZ methods, and canonical variational transition state theory with small curvature tunneling.
Bis(pyrazolyl)borate complexes [BBN(pz R ) 2 ]Cu(I) were evaluated as catalysts in the reaction of carbene/nitrene transfer and addition to C=C bonds of a wide range of aromatic, heterocyclic and aliphatic olefins. The complexes exhibit high catalytic efficiency and selectivity in both processes.
A series of new copper(I) complexeshave been synthesized and fully characterized. Single crystal studies of these complexes showed weak intramolecular CÀ H⋅⋅⋅Cu interactions which can be assigned as agostic or anagostic interactions. Their catalytic application in carbene insertion into NÀ H and BÀ H bonds demonstrates wide substrate scope, high yields and selectivity.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
