Gigi merupakan salah satu bagian tubuh yang berfungsi untuk mengunyah, berbicara dan mempertahankan bentuk muka, sehingga penting untuk menjaga kesehatan gigi sedini mungkin agar dapat bertahan lama dalam rongga mulut. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh didapatkan 6 siswa (60%) mengalami karies gigi karena jarang menggosok gigi. Hal ini dipengaruhi oleh sikap anak yang kurang mengetahui tentang pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi. Tujuan penelitian adalah mengetahui hubungan sikap anak dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dengan kejadian karies pada anak usia 6-12 tahun di SDN Teja Timur IV Kecamatan Pamekasan Kabupaten Pamekasan. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat analitik korelasi. Berdasarkan waktunya penelitian ini menggunakan cross sectional. Populasinya adalah semua siswa di SDN Teja Timur IV berjumlah 89 siswa. Sampel berjumlah 73 siswa dengan tekhnik probability sampling yaitu Simple Random Sampling. Variabel bebas adalah sikap anak dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dan variabel terikat adalah kejadian karies gigi pada anak usia 6-12 tahun. Pengumpulan data menggunakan checklist. Setelah dianalisis didapatkan hasil responden dengan sikap negatif umumnya terjadi karies gigi (78%). Berdasarkan uji statistik Chi Square menggunakan SPSS 18 didapatkan X2 hitung > X2 tabel (8,640>3,84) sehingga disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara sikap anak dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dengan kejadian karies pada anak usia 6-12 tahun di SDN Teja Timur IV Kecamatan Pamekasan Kabupaten Pamekasan. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan agar anak selalu bersikap positif dalam pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi yaitu adanya peran aktif orang tua dalam membantu dan mengawasi kesehatan gigi anaknya, sehingga angka kejadian karies berkurang. ``````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
Toilet training berhubungan dengan perkembangan sosial anak dimana anak tersebut dituntut secara sosial untuk menjaga kebersihan diri dan menjadi awal terbentuknya kemandirian anak secara nyata, sehingga toilet training sangat penting untuk diterapkan pada anak yang dapat dimulai saat usia berkisar antara 18–24 bulan. Tetapi masih banyak orang tua yang tidak menerapkannya karena belum mengerti teknik atau metode penerapan toilet training. Berdasarkan data yang diperoleh di Desa Teja Barat dari 10 anak usia 2 sampai 3 tahun terdapat 7 anak (70%) tidak dapat menerapkan toilet training. Jenis penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif. Berdasarkan waktunya menggunakan retrospektif. Populasinya adalah semua Ibu yang mempunyai anak usia 2-3 tahun. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah keberhasilan metode penerapan toilet training. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagian besar Ibu tidak mengajarkan anak bagaimana melepas celana dan mendudukkan diatas toilet pada tehnik lisan, sebagian besar Ibu tidak memberi contoh cara duduk atau jongkok dihadapan anak sambil mengajak berbicara dan bercerita saat buang air kecil atau buang air besar pada tehnik modelling, hampir seluruh Ibu tidak memiliki jadwal buang air besar dan buang air kecil yang teratur untuk anak pada metode taiming dan sebagian besar Ibu tidak memberikan pujian kepada boneka misalnya karena celana dalamnya kering dan berhasil buang air besar dan buang air kecil) dan tidak memberikan pujian pada anak jika anak berhasil menirukan apa yang diajarkan oleh ibu pada metode boneka. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan antara lain petugas kesehatan terutama bidan komunitas diharapkan lebih intensif lagi dalam rangka memberikan penyuluhan tentang metode penerapan toilet training.
<p><strong><em>Background</em></strong><em>: The process of delivery through the birth canal has a risk of experiencing perineal tears, perineal tears can occur spontaneously or tear through episiotomy. The presence of perineal wounds can be one of the predisposing factors for infection during the puerperium. Based on the Indonesian Health Profile in 2018, post-partum wounds are still a common cause of infection, reaching 80-90%. Complementary therapy is the right solution to overcome health problems. One type of biodiversity that can be used as herbal therapy to speed up recovery process of perineal wounds is banana blossom which contains iron which is needed for hydroxylation of proline, lysine, vitamins, flavonoids, and proteins. antioxidant effect which is indispensable in the wound healing process</em></p><p><strong><em>Objectives: </em></strong><em>This study aims to determine the effectiveness of consuming banana flower vegetables to accelerate perineal wound healing.</em></p><p><strong><em>Methods</em></strong><em>: This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Posttest Only Control Group design and then analyzed using a non-parametric test, namely the Mann Whitney test and a significance level of 0.05, to see the difference in perineal wound healing time between the control group and the experimental group</em></p><p><strong><em>Results:</em></strong><em> Based on the results of statistical tests using the Mann Whitney U-Test, a p value of 0.000 <0.05 (α) was obtained which indicated that H1 was accepted and H0 was rejected, meaning that there was a difference in the duration of perineal wound healing between respondents who consumed banana flower vegetables and respondents who did not consume banana heart</em></p><p><strong><em>Conclusions:</em></strong><em> Banana flower has a high antioxidant content which makes the process of joining the tissues on both sides of the wound due to tearing to take place more quickly. With the results of this study, it is hoped that all postpartum women who experience perineal tears can continue to consume banana flower vegetables until the perineal wound heals.</em></p>
Lack of knowledge, nature and risk behavior in adolescents that have an impact on adolescent reproductive health status requires the availability of adolescent care health services that can meet adolescent health needs, especially services for adolescent-friendly reproductive health. The target of this community service activity is the group of teenagers in the Hamlet of Bajuang Pakong, Pamekasan, who are teenagers. The purpose of this activity is to increase the knowledge and understanding of adolescents about reproductive health and to empower adolescents through the Youth group program as a forum for adolescents to increase knowledge about reproductive health. This group of teenagers shared with other teenagers during women's activities, then these teenagers made applications on social media as a means to provide information to make it easier to provide information to other peers. With the Youth group program, students are enthusiastic about seeking health information for adolescents and find it useful to have this youth group program.
Complementary food to breast milk is food or drink given to babies aged 6-24 months to meet nutritional needs other than breast milk. Supplementary food or complementary feeding programs have been implemented in Indonesia with the hope of reaching 80%, but in this case it fulfills many things. According to the 2008 Ministry of Health's national data, there were 28.5% or 6 million undernourished toddlers because there were still many people who lacked knowledge about the importance of maintaining nutrition from infancy.The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the level of knowledge of mothers about complementary foods and offering complementary foods at the age of 0-6 months.This type of research is analytical correlation with cross sectional design. The population is all mothers who have babies aged 0-6 months in Billa'an village. Sampling using a total sampling technique of 34 respondents. The independent variable is mother's knowledge, while the dependent variable is offering complementary foods to babies aged 0-6 months. The instruments used were questionnaires and KMS books.The results of the study of 34 obtained results as many as 3 respondents (8.82,%) who have knowledge of complementary foods and 27 respondents (79.4%) are not appropriate in giving complementary foods at the age of 0-6 months. The statistical test used is Chi-Square with a significant number a = 0.05, then it is obtained X2 count (14.008)> X2 table (5.991) so that Ho is rejected.From the results obtained, it can be ignored that there is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and complementary feeding in infants aged 0–6 months. Therefore the need for mother's awareness to increase mother's knowledge in providing complementary breastfeeding on time or age, namely for babies aged 6 months so that it does not pose a risk because the function of the baby's digestive system is not optimal if given complementary feeding before the baby is 6 months old.
