The TFTR Neutral Beam Power System (NRPS) consists of the accelerator grid power supply and the auxiliary power supplies required to operate the TFTR 120 keV ion sources. The current configuration of the NBPS including the 1 1 MVA accelerator grid power supply and the Arc and Filament power supplies isolated for operation at accelerator grid voitages up to 120 kV, is described. The prototype NRPS has been assembled at the Princeton Plasma Phvsics Laboratory and has been operated. The results of the initial operation and the descriptor! and resolution of some of t' e technical problems encountered during the commissioning tests arc presented. I.
