The article gives an overview of the structural elements of geodetic networks of various types. For satellite geodetic networks, a promising method of using mobile monitoring and control stations is considered. This method provides an increase in the reliability and stability of the orbital constellation, however, when implementing it, it is necessary to pay special attention to the issue of geodetic referencing of the antennas of mobile monitoring and control stations. The problem of geodetic support for the phased deployment of the GLONASS satellite radio navigation system is described. It is shown that the developed methods of geodetic work on the binding of trajectory tracking stations of artificial Earth satellites provide the necessary accuracy, but can be improved in the process of experimental work.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
