The field experiment was conducted during Kharif 2017 at Post Graduate Research Farm, College of Agriculture Kolhapur with the view to study the effect of integrated phosphorus management for yield, nutrient uptake of soybean grown on "P" deficient soil. The soil of experimental site was slightly alkaline in reaction, low in available nitrogen, low in available phosphorus and very high in available potassium. The field experiment was carried out in randomized block design with three replications and seven treatments viz. absolute control (T 1 ), General recommended dose of fertilizer (T 2 ), 100 % P 2 O 5 through PMC (T 3 ), 100 % P 2 O 5 through DAP (T 4 ), 25 % P 2 O 5 through PMC + 75 % P 2 O 5 through DAP (T 5 ), 50 % P 2 O 5 through PMC + 50 % P 2 O 5 through DAP (T 6 ), 75 % P 2 O 5 through PMC + 25 % P 2 O 5 through DAP (T 7 ). The result indicated that the application of 25 % P 2 O 5 through PMC + 75 % P 2 O 5 through DAP (T 5 ) recorded significantly higher plant height, number of branches per plant, number of grains per plant, number of pods per plant, yield, nutrient uptake and quality of soybean.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
