The prebiotic activity of an enzymatic hydrolyzed of alcohol distillery cream (HEL) on productive indicators of egg-laying hens, was evaluated. 300 White Leghorn hens, from 126 to 226 days age, were used in experiment, divided in two groups (with and without HEL). No differences for corporal weight gain between dosis were found, but these differences were observed in total egg production (P < 0.05), egg production in the production peak (P < 0.05), duration (days) of egg production peak (P < 0.01) and uniformity at 182 and 226 days (P < 0.001). Resumen Se evaluó la actividad prebiótica de un hidrolizado enzimático de crema de destilería de alcohol (HEL) sobre indicadores productivos en gallinas ponedoras. Se realizó un experimento con 300 aves White Leghorn de 126 a 226 días de edad, divididas en dos grupos: dosis I (control, sin HEL) y dosis II (5 mL de HEL por ave sobre el alimento). No se encontraron diferencias para la ganancia de peso corporal, pero sí para la producción total de huevos (P < 0,05), la uniformidad a los 182 y 226 días (P < 0,001), el porcentaje de puesta en el pico (P < 0,05) y los días de duración del pico postura, a favor del grupo con HEL.
