Durch Addition von HF an die entsprechenden Schwefeltetrafluoridimide RNSF4 werden N‐Alkylpentafluorsulfanylamine RNHSF, (2a, 2b:) R=CH3, C2H5) in quantitativer Ausbeute erhalten. N, N‐Dialkylpentafluorsulfanylamine Et2NSF5 (5a) und Pip‐SF5 (5b) werden aus der Umsetzung der entsprechenden Schwefeldifluoridnitridamide NSF2NR2 mit HF/SF, isoliert. Die Protonierung der Amine durch das supersaure System HF/AsF5 liefert stabile Pentafluor‐sulfanylammoniumsalze SF5NHRR′−AsF6− (12: R=R′=CH3; 14: R=R′=H; 10: R=CH3, R′=H). Aus der Umsetzung der Addukte AsF5·NSF2NMe2(17) wurde nur im ersten Falle ein Kation mit hexakoordiniertem Schwefel (trans‐H3NSF4CF(CF3)2′ AsF6− : 16) isoliert, bei 17 bleibt die Reaktion auf der tetrakoordinierten Stufe (HNSF2NMe2′ AsF6−: 18) stehen.
AbstractThe preparation of sulfur dioxide complexes M(SO2)2(AsFe) (1 a-1 g M = Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Mg) is possible in liquid SO2 (a) by oxidation of the metals with AsF5, (b) by metathesis of metal halides, e.g. NiBro, with AgAsF6, (c) by the reaction of metal fluorides, e.g. ZNF2, with AsF5. The spectroscopic properties of these complexes are discussed and the structure of [Mg(SO2)2(AsF6)2]n (1 g) is reported.
Translation of the Bible or any other text unavoidably involves a determination about its meaning. There have been different views of meaning from ancient times up to the present, and a particularly Enlightenment and Modernist view is that the meaning of a text amounts to whatever the original author of the text intended it to be. This article analyzes the authorial-intent view of meaning in comparison with other models of literary and legal interpretation. Texts are anchors to interpretation but are subject to individualized interpretations. It is texts that are translated, not intentions. The challenge to the translator is to negotiate the meaning of a text and try to choose the most salient and appropriate interpretation as a basis for bringing the text to a new audience through translation.
Durch Umsetzung von [M(SO2)2](AsF6)2 (1a–c, M Co, Ni, Cu) mit R3SiNSOF2 in flüssigem SO2 konnten die Bis(imidodifluorosulfate) M(NSOF2)2 (5) dargestellt werden. Als Zwischenprodukt ließen sich [Ni(SO2)2{AsF4(NSOF2)2}2] (4) und [Cu(NSOF2)(AsF5NSOF2)] (6) isolieren. Die Struktur von 4 wurde aus Einkristall‐Röntgendaten bestimmt.
