The Composition of Commercial Hitosterol RoductsCommercial Psitosterol products have been studied by gas-chromatography, and it was found that they consisted always of 2 substances. The accompanying substance of the real P-sitosterol was identified as campesterol. The composition of the commercial products fluctuated between 58-63 % Psitosterol and 42--37 % campesterol.
