Studied antioxidant and therapeutic efficacy of the product fermented mares milk — kumis in the complex sanatorium treatment of 134 patients with stable angina pectoris I, II functional class (FC). Made kumis derived from fermented mares milk, Lactobacterium bulgaricum and yeasts such as Torula.Kumis contributed to the activation of antioxidant enzymes against inhibition of peroxidation processes of metabolism and lipid-lowering effect. The developed approach is an effective method of complex of regenerative therapy in patients with chronic coronary heart disease.
The results of the use of a natural therapeutic factor — koumiss from mare’s milk — in health programs for 78men with a risk of developing atherosclerosis are presented. It has been established that the course application of koumiss has hypolipidemic, anti-atherogenic effects, contributes to the inhibition of lipid peroxidation processes with an increase in the activity of antioxidant enzymes in individuals at risk of developing atherosclerosis.
