JiEi KVAPIL, J. KUBELKA, R. VADURA Monokrystaly Turnov, Czechoslovakia Temperature Distribution in Growing Semi-Transparent Crystals (I). TheorySimplified analytical and computational solutions of the temperature distribution in crystals grown by Czochralski method including the temperature difference on the liquid/solid interface a r e given. The model used is based on experiments with oxide crystals with me€ting points above 2000 K. Computational solution was more extended because it enables to calculate actual temperature distribution with a relat ive ly small error.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
