In this paper, a new technique in designing Multi-Agent System (MAS) for power system reconfiguration and restoration is proposed. The designed MAS system is based on mimicking the human immune system behavior. The Immune system is a natural intelligent MAS where different components interact to heal the body. Similarly, the proposed multi-agent system is designed to detect and isolate faults, and restore power to the affected loads taking into consideration line capacity, voltage profile and power losses. The proposed approach is demonstrated on a model of Southern California Edison's Circuit of the Future.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
