In present study, biosynthesis of iron oxide nanoparticles using clove (Syzygium aromaticum) extracts
was performed and characterized. The activity of the biosynthesized iron oxide nanoparticles was
evaluated against phytopathogen (Colletotrichum falcatum) and the result showed that the biogenic
nanoparticles produced antifungal activity on the test organism. The photocatalytic activity of the
present study revealed a rapid and efficient degradation of methylene blue within 0.5 h.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
