Neoplasias da mama Epidemiologia Estadiamento de neoplasias Programas de rastreamento Saúde pública RESUMO Objetivo: Comparar os métodos utilizados para o diagnóstico e o estadiamento do câncer de mama em mulheres atendidas em um serviço de referência em Oncologia, nos anos de 2005 e 2012. Métodos: Tratase de um estudo transversal, descritivo e retrospectivo numa população de mulheres diagnosticadas com câncer de mama, nos anos de 2005 e 2012, atendidas no Centro de Oncologia Cascavel (CEONC), em Cascavel, no Paraná. Foram analisadas as seguintes variáveis: estadiamento clínico da doença (precoces [estágios I e II] e avançados [estágios III e IV]), método de diagnóstico (clínico ou por meio de exames de imagem) e faixa etária. Para verificar associação entre as variáveis categóricas, foi utilizado o teste do χ 2 , considerando um nível de significância estatística inferior a 0,05.
. We registered the amount and the type of accident, the day of week and the period of day when the events occurred, and the amount, sex, age, and clinical condition of the victims. RESULTS: In the period studied there were 248.805 transport accidents. Cars and motorcycles accounted for the majority of vehicles involved. The accidents occurred mainly on weekends and during the periods of afternoon and evening. These accidents resulted in 307.916 victims. The typical profile were young males. The injuries were most frequently classified as minor. CONCLUSION: There was a high number of accidents and victims. Cars and motorcycles were involved in most of the events and men of working age were the main victims. The results show that the impact of traffic accidents in our society is relevant. Thus, it is important to produce more studies in order to develop and implement actions that leads to a safer traffic.
