This study aims to identify the potential of water sports tourism.This research uses qualitative research methods with reference to the concept of sports tourism, water based tourism and sustainable tourism. The population in this study was in the form of a social situation, namely Pramuka Island (land and water areas) with participants in it, Thousand Islands National Marine Park (TNLKPs), local tourism industry and Pramuka Island community. Research instruments in this study are observation, interviews and literature studies. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman model with data triangulation. The results of this study indicate that Pramuka Island has the potential to be developed into a sports tourism destination in particular is skin diving, snorkeling, fishing. The strategy for developing sports tourism in Pramuka Island is increasing community participation in tourism activities, especially sport tourism based on water tourism, zoning area for marine sports tourism activities so as not to be confused with marine conservation areas and improving supporting facilities and infrastructure for marine sports tourism activities.
This research is aim for finding and describing the language skill of tourism actor in Simanindo sub-district which reflected on the results of using language in public by using linguistic landscape approach or known as LL. The research method which used in this research is descriptive and qualitative method. Basically, qualitative method observe the use of language on LL, review the form and meaning of language morphology and multilingual morphological situation as an international tourist area. In this research we observed that the use of language in all public spaces included street names, welcome greetings, directions, tourism business signs and so on and provided questionnaires for tourism actors regarding language skills. By using qualitative method, Data obtained will be fuller, deeper, trustworthy and meaningful so that the research objectives can be achieved. The findings of the research: language morphology dominated by the form of words and phrases. In the linguistic situation the most dominant form of bilingual are mixing between the use of Indonesian and English. The meaning of the language contained in LL in Simanindo District is oriented to denotative and connotative meaning. Somewhat rare idiomatic meaning for dominant use of language in the LL is informative. The language skills of tour operators are generally still lacking. This is evident from the morphology of words, phrases, clauses and sentences in Indonesian and English by not applying the rules of writing and good translation. There is a difference between the use of LL made by the government and private institutions. LL by the government has uniformity at the linguistic and non-linguistic level while the independent tourism actors tend to produce the original language according to the wishes of each local community. This becomes significant with the language as the first component encountered by tourists in the tourist area. Language will determine whether the tourists will linger or leave the area immediately. Recommendation: (1) It should be a good linguistic planning of the use of language in the LL in Simanindo. (2) The need to reduce the language awareness of tourism. (3) It should be cooperation between the relevant institutions to provide training and counseling language in favor of language skills (language competence) tourism actors.
Tujuan penulisan tesis ini adalah untuk mendapatkan tipe dan preferensi wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Desa Wisata Denai Lama serta membuat rekomendasi produk sesuai karakteristik wisatawan. Untuk menjawab tujuan tersebut digunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teori Cohen, 1979 tentang Tipologi Wisatawan. Ditemukan bahwa tipe wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Desa Wisata Denai Lama adalah wisatawan recreational yaitu wisatawan yang melakukan perjalanan wisata dengan tujuan untuk melakukan rekreasi fisik. Beberapa produk wisata yang direkomendasikan sesuai tipe wisatawan tersebut adalah keterlibatan wisatawan dalam pembuatan kuliner tradisional, keterlibatan wisatawan dalam pembuatan kerajinan tangan khas Desa Wisata Denai Lama, dan membuat paket wisata sepeda santai bagi kaum ibu. Untuk mendukung kenyamanan dan kelancaran aktivitas wisata maka disarankan untuk memperbaiki kualitas jaringan internet, pemasangan wi-fi serta pemanfaatan aplikasi digital bagi usaha kuliner tradisional yang ada di Desa Wisata Denai Lama.
The research aims to find a component of marine educational package tour at Tidung island such as the tourist attraction, tourist activity, accessibility, amenities, and organizations which can be developed as marine educational tour product to capture market opportunities in the student market segment. This study used qualitative research methods with reference to the concept of educational tours. The participant of this study includes the local tourism business, Marine National Park, the local tourism industry and the residence of Tidung Island. The data were collected by observation, interviews and analyzed on the basis of the model miles and huberman with triangulation of data. These results indicate that the tourism attraction of the Tidung island consisting of natural resources a socio-cultural community, marine educational tourism activity, accessibilities, amenities and organization in general education adequately and can be developed in accordance with General Spatial Plan in the area of Island Seribu in 2018, although there is short coming that need to fix, especially in term of management and the promotion marine education tourism in the Tidung Island. It is therefore necessary to synergize cross-sectoral cooperation efforts between government, private and community to manage marine educational tour activities such as the amenity, accessibility, attraction and information of Tidung Island.
Penelitian ini dibuat untuk menjelaskan pengaruh subtitusi terhadap putu ayu yang menggunakan bahan utama yaitu kuning telur yang diganti dengan tahu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kesukaan masyarakat terhadap warna, tektur, aroma serta rasa terhadap kue putu ayu. Putu ayu merupakan salah satu kue jajanan pasar yang dapat dijadikan sebagai produk wisata kuliner di Jakarta dan sangat mudah dijumpai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan oleh penulis dalam penelitian ini adalah one-shot case study. Penulis mengumpulkan data untuk penelitian ini dengan menyebar kuesioner kepada para responden.
