This study aimed to examine the validity of the instrument to determine the structure and explore factors in the variable indicators of career development. This is a survey design research. Statistical analysis was applied to explore the factor structure of Career Development for Educational Personnel at Jambi University. Using cluster random sampling, the respondents involved were 164 Education Personnel in Jambi University. The stages of this study aimed to examine the validity of the instrument with quantitative data analyzed using exploratory factor analysis (EFA) to determine the structure and explore factors in the variable indicators of Career Development. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was carried out to verify the factorial validity of career development. The CFA can provide further evidence of the suitability of the suggested model by considering the structure of the factors identified through EFA. The findings of this research concluded that there are four factors in the structure of the career development of personnel education personnel at Jambi University. This finding suggests the importance of validating and confirming the structure of career development of education personnel towards translating constructs into different languages.Career development is a personal improvement effort by an employee to achieve goals and increase career in an organization by related parties to achieve a career plan in accordance with the path or level of existing organization in
This study aimed to investigate the effect of the Attainment, Discussion, Implementation, and Conclusion (ADIC) model for learning Agribusiness in Vocational School by utilizing a delivery system model of Agribusiness to attain HOTS and life skill that suitable with material and student characteristic in the vocational school. This was a research and development (R & D) and continued with an experimental study. This study was conducted in class XI of a vocational school (SMK Negeri 10) in Muaro Jambi by involving one experimental class and one control class groups. In this case, the post-test on the experimental class was compared to post-test on control class. As a result, ADIC model as one of the delivery system models can improve and promote students' HOTS and life skill in the current school effectively. Through the ADIC model, a teacher can take place students as a learner actively to control their learning activity, to attain their knowledge, to compose discussion material and discuss it, to conduct practice and experiment, and to conclude their experiment. Contribution/Originality:This study originates a new model of teaching that integrated mobile devices for Agribusiness in the vocational school. This model is used to facilitate students to attain HOTS and life skill. The model developed focused on the active learner to access the website, discussing, practicing, experimenting, and making conclusion to solve the learning problem.
