Abstract-This paper focuses on the Indonesian strategies in fighting human trafficking. Indonesian migrant domestic workers are one of the highest rates of undocumented labor migration. Moreover, they also do not have skill. Therefore they are vulnerable to labor exploitation and human rights abuses. The type of work of Indonesian workers that were trafficked such as domestic service, sex work, shop keeping, waitressing, dancing and factory work. Trafficking in person both domestically and transnationally in Indonesia is an issue of concern across Indonesia's 33 provinces. South Sulawesi province also has been identified as a trafficking issue within Indonesia. Research questions namely 1) what can average person do to help to fight this crime?, 2) how can we better educate potential victims of human trafficking?. This research uses qualitative method. This method is to analysis and collects data to support the content of analysis. This research conducted in Jeneponto district, South Sulawesi Province. In beating human traffickers, education and knowledge of trafficking in person among all members of society is one of strategy. As a researcher, we try to raise awareness about the nature, causes and damage to victims. Therefore, cooperation between government, civil society, the press, and private companies in promoting knowledge of countering human trafficking are needed.Index Terms-Education and knowledge, human trafficking, labor exploitation, migrant domestic workers, south Sulawesi province.

Abstract-This research focuses on the traditional versus modern methods in conducting the election of the head of a village in Indonesia. A village head has a major role in organizing and managing community interests. In participating in the election of the village head, a village head must deliver his the programs. One tool that can be utilized in delivering some programs is social media. Despite so, there are some village heads that use the traditional ways, which are commonly known as 'door to door' approach. The purpose of this study is to investigate traditional versus modern methods as a technique of village head in transmitting and spreading programs to people. The research design of this study is qualitative study. This research used interviewing method. This research was conducted in Makkawaru Village, Mattiro Bulu Subdistrict, Pinrang Regency, and South Sulawesi Province. This research found that the use of social media and Internet is still infrequent among the villagers. Most of which use social media and the Internet is generally still among the youth. The candidates of village heads in delivering campaign programs are still traditional.

Pengaruh elastisitas budidaya ikan terhadap pembudidaya ikan bendungan di desa ponre ponre Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam rangka untuk menentukan aspek yang mempengaruhi tingkat permintaan serta penawaran pada pendapatan masyarakat di bendungan Ponre-Ponre, dengan menggunakan analisis elastisitas. Jenis penelitian adalah survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan adalah masyarakat yang menjalankan budidaya ikan bendungan yang terdiri 18 petambak. Tekhnik sampling dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik sampling jenuh. Metode pengumpulan data yaitu melalui survei dan dokumentasi. Analisis elastisitas dan uji regresi linear sederhana berbasis SPSS digunakan untuk membantu dalam analisis dan pengambilan keputusan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh ppada permintaan dan penawaran yaitu tingkat harga, ketersediaan, tingkat pendapatan atau daya beli, selera konsumen, jumlah penduduk dan cuaca, kebijakan pemerintah, faktor alam Serta faktor-faktor pendapatan yaitu, cuaca, waktu panen, pemesanan, ketersediaan. Sedangkan analisis elastisitas dan uji regresi linear berganda pada budidaya ikan bendungan Ponre-Ponre menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh elastisitas pada pendapatan masyarakat. Oleh karena itu diharapkan pemerintah diharapkan melakukan pembinaan tentang bagaimana budidaya ikan bendungan Ponre-Ponre agar dapat lebih meningkatkan produksi budidaya ikan bendungan.
