A research experiment was conducted during kharif season of 2017 at College of Agriculture, Research farm Gwalior (M.P.) under Department of Agronomy. On the basis of results obtained the treatment neem coated urea 2% spray at flower initiation gave significantly higher seed yield (1456 kg/ha), net monetary return (‘ 74396/ha), BCR (4.30) and harvest index (27.63%) as compared to other treatments but at par with treatment NPK (19 : 19 : 19) 2% spray at flower initiation and neem coated urea 2% + salicylic acid 75 ppm spray at flower initiation treatment.
Experimentation at twenty farmer's field of tribal area of Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh during Kharif 2015-16 considering zinc variability in soil as low, medium and high, and Zn levels through ZnSO4 7H2O in a RBD. The soils of selected sites wer clayey, alkaline in pH, organic carbon varied from less to marginal and varied in available Zn from 0.12 to 2.17 mg kg -1 . The rice MTU-1010 seed was sown @ 80 kg ha -1 with recommended practices and harvested at maturity (120 DAS). Significant effects were noted on growth and yield components yield content and uptake by rice: plant height in S-12 (36.73 cm), no. of tillers/ hill (9.79) in S-17, no. grains/panicle varied from 53.00 (S-6) and to 71.33 (S-7) and test weight (24.25 g) in soil S-7. Yield was recorded S-9 (4.75 t/ha) which was at par with S-14 (4.47 t ha -1 ). Highest tillers per hill -1 (8.15) were noted with basal application @ 8 kg Zn ha -1 but similar with (8.03) just 6 kg and low with no zinc. It had also increased the yield (3.57 t ha -1 ) but at par with 6.0 kg Zn ha -1 (3.44 t ha -1 ). Zinc content and its uptake varied and recorded more in 8.0 kg Zn ha -1 but equal to 6.kg Zn ha -1 .

The electrical distribution system is facing undesirable power quality disturbances due to different types of linear/nonlinear loads on the supply system. The objective of the project is to reduce the distortion level in voltage or current input to the load and at the output of the filter. To design a simple but highly viable hybrid active power buffer that is capable of feeding less distorted voltage to the nonlinear load model. To present an optimal controlling of these buffers so as to minimize the voltage distortion by designing a different algorithm for the same. Comparing the THD levels of the output voltage waveform with the standard controlling method with the proposed control design to further enhance the proposed design such that it is practically feasible to be implemented in grid system having renewable energy resources. In this work, a power filter has been designed using different algorithms with an objective to reduce the Total Harmonic Distortion in the voltage output waveforms. The total harmonic distortion in the voltage output waveform being fed to the load using only the PQ_RLS algorithm is found to be 2.18 %. In the case of the output voltage from the power buffer using PQ_RLS algorithm, the THD level is 0.17 %. The distortion level in the output voltage waveforms in both the cases being fed to the load when compared, it is found that RLS algorithm in combination with PQ algorithm is more effective in reducing the distortion as compared to standard RLS method or PQ method.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
