In this day and age people decorate homes with flower pots and many models of flower pot place creations. Usually the place to put flower pots in the form of a circle and to make a circular iron is made manually requires energy and a long time. A bending machine is needed to make concrete iron circle creations. The aim of this research is to produce a rotary bending machine that is able to work efficiently in forming a concrete steel circle. The method used in this study is a practical method that is doing machine design and continued with the manufacture and field testing. The working principle of this machine is to use a motor that functions to move the Gearbox and continue the rotation to the shaft, then the shaft rotates and the bending mall rotates and makes the steel concrete come round and circular. The conclusion is (a). This concrete steel rotary bending machine has dimensions of 550 mm x 550 mm x 1000 mm with an electric motor drive power source (b). The results of the bending process using a concrete steel rotary bending machine are far more efficient than doing manual bending
Design and manufacture of coffee pulper machines have been carried out with the aim of completing the needs of the coffee farmer groups when harvesting in the Kayu Aro area, Kerinci. The steps in designing and manufacturing a coffee pulper begins with a literature study, design and calculation, the process of making the tool and ends with testing the tool. Engineering drawing design is done by modeling in SolidWorks software. Coffee peeler machine with a capacity of 4 kg/min, with a machine size of 730 mm x 320 mm x 1040 mm, using an electric motor 1 HP 1420 rpm, with a frame using an elbow profile 40 mm x 40 mm x 3 mm. The transmission system uses an electric motor with an initial rotation of 1420 rpm to 364.6 rpm. In the 2 pulley component D = 74.6 mm and 290.5 mm, V-belt type B No.52, 1 solid shaft D = 25 mm. Initial test results using 2–5 kg of wet coffee beans take 30.07–77.20 seconds, and the skin has separated from the beans cleanly. These results show that the engine capacity is 235.62 kg/h, so that the desired target is met with relatively low operating costs. The existence of this tool will be able to help the process of separating the skin and coffee beans, so that the quality of coffee production will increase. Due to the weaknesses of some existing areca peelers, some modifications were made. Modifications were made to the gear stripper, the addition of the inlet funnel, the gear stripper cover, and the exit funnel. The purpose of this modification of the design of the areca nut peeling machine is to make it easier for areca-producing farmers to peel their skin. Engine design specifications, using a 1/2 HP motor with a speed of 1500 rpm, 2-inch, and 10-inch pulleys, and a capacity of 5.16 kg/hour. The result of this modification is stated to be able to perform stripping with a large capacity. This machine is expected to be able to meet the needs of manual areca nut peelers to increase productivity.
Reverse Engineering (RE) is a process in manufacturing that aims to reproduce or recreate existing models, either components, sub-components, or products without using existing design documents or working drawings. Through this reverse engineering idea, the process of making the Pump Block component is started with making part and mold design, making sand casting, then finished with machining processes. The machining process that is carried out is the turning process, the milling process, and the drilling process which is assisted by using jigs and fixture to make it easier on finishing the Pump Block parts in the machining process. By using the processes, so it is produced the similar pump block that is resemble with desired original object.
