A gauge invariant and Lorentz-irreducible three-gluon conserved vector current is constructed, and the mass of the vector glueball is calculated in the framework of the Quantum Chromodynamics sum rules.
The B spline method for calculating the correlation energy of helium atoms is proposed. The result is compared with that by Slater basis functions. The virtue defect and practicability of B spline technique are analysed. It is shown that the B spline technique can be used widely in the calculation of electronic interaction.
In this article, the B spline technique is employed to calculate the energy values of a number of low-lying states of hydrogen atom in the presence of a homogeneous magnetic field of arbitrary strength (0<B≤4.7×108T) our results fill the gaps in the results of the works by Rosner et al. and Ivanov, and agree well with those obtained by other theoretical calculations. B spline functions are proved to be powerful in treating the excited, as well as ground states of hydrogen in magnetic field.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
