Oxazolidone modified epoxy resin blends can be prepared with dianhydrides to form thermosets with higher thermal stability. Curing the oxazolidone modified resin is an addition reaction, which offers better thermal properties and improved chemical resistance. Chemical reactions that take place during cure, determine resin morphology and properties of cured thermosets. Such epoxy resin systems are used for various reinforcements because they offer significant advantage over metals in area of weight saving and corrosion resistance and for use in glass fabric reinforced flame retardants.
Healthy and bold seeds of castor variety "Aruna" were collected. The de-hulled castor kernels were separated from seed coat and finely grounded in an electric grinder. The powdered kernels were passed through 60 mesh sieve and defatted using n-hexane in a soxhlet extractor. After complete extraction of oil seed meal was made free from solvent at low temperature. The defatted seed meal was pulverized and again passed through 60-mesh sieve to get final product .The RICINUS LIPASE source thus, obtained was stored in a screw capped glass vial and kept in a desiccator. As and when required portions from this preparation were used in further enzymatic studies.
The present paper deals with the study of variations of oil and fatty acids in mustard. The oil content of seed samples of different of different mustard varieties has been found to show a wide variation between 30.00% to 39.00%. PC-5 variety of seed has been found to have the maximum content of oil i.e. 39.26% The major component of fatty acid Erucic acid is varied 35.00% to 60.70%.PC-5 variety is at the top with the 60.20% value of Erucic Acid.
Hedychium Spicatum (Kapoor Kacchri) is a vigorous tall growing ginger and consist multiple stem per pot. The underground part rhizome is useful in preparation of indigenous medicine. The crude extract of rhizome has been used in preparation of anticancerous drug. In addition to its medicinal values, the plant rhizome is reported to posses anti inflammatory, hypoglycaemic, vasodialator and hypotensive properties as well as antibacterial activity against both gram positive and gram negative bacteria. The major chemical constituents are limonene, cineole, terpinene, linalool, p-cymene, terpeneol and phellandrene.
