Opportunities of factories, transport companies and piling driving machines does not allow to produce longer piles when it is necessary. Currently this problem could be solved by joining parts of piles. A wide range of pile joints are known therefore it is a problem for building companies to choose which one is more relevant. In this connection there is a need to identify what joint is the most optimal. In this work main types of joints are compared in accordance with up-to-date requirements to building constructions and technologies. On the basis of these comparisons it is concluded that the most effective is pin joint type
Abstract. This article examine the causes of crack formation in the exterior layer multilayer enclosing structures, on early terms of operation (from 3 to 5 years). The problem is investigated on a concrete example of the existing residential building to St. Petersburg. We explore the cracks in the zone interwindow belts and partition. For explore this question used methods such as: analysis of the experience, visual inspection, the experimental methods in laboratories, numerical modeling in the software package ANSYS. As a result of visual examination of sediment soils are not detected. According to the results tests of a selected samples bricklaying, compliance of its durability to existing rules -is defined. Identified a number of causes of crack formation. Also, a number of recommendations is developed for the design, to avoid similar problems on early terms of operation.
Abstract. The purpose of this particular article is to assess existing calculations of steel corrugated constructions. Steel Corrugated Construction is a perspective type of constructions, which is exhibiting numerous advantages in comparison with one that currently applied in automobile and railroad networks (reinforced concrete water-throughput pipes, reinforced concrete frame bridges). The evaluation of experimental data on models of constructions of this particular type has been carried out in order to improve calculations of Steel Corrugated Constructions.
This paper presents an economic comparison of using two different types of lifting. As an example we consider object with 15-storey and 25-storey building. Calculation of operating costs and purchase or rent, including all technical specifications for each of lifts in 15-storey and 25-storey buildings. Comparative analysis results show advantage of purchasing or renting of equipment
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
