During the Zrínyi 2026 program, the Hungarian defence industry expanded with new companies. The small arms factory in Kiskunfélegyháza and the company Hirtenberger Defense Systems manufacturing weapon and ammunition create significant capacities for Hungarian weapon production. An outstanding result of the Zrínyi 2026 program is the organization and start-up of the domestic production of the Bren weapon family.
