In this work, a design technique is proposed to guarantee the stability of continuous switched linear systems, based on the linear quadratic regulator (LQR) by approximation via linear matrix inequalities (LMIs) in uncertain linear systems, or subject to failures to occur. This technique is of a feedback nature and the project is based on the solution of the so-called Lyapunov-Metzler inequalities, based on quality, the condition of stability is expressed. The technique is applied to an active suspension system in order to compare the performance of motors with and without switching as a way of illustrating the efficiency of the proposed theorems. At the end of this work, a performance analysis of this design technique applied to systems with invariant uncertainties without time.
