Medicinal plants play an important role in curing various diseases, so the aim of this work was to conduct a study on the ethnobotanical survey of medicinal plants with students from the agronomy course at the Federal Institute of Pará Campus Castanhal. The methodology used to carry out the study was an interview, guided by a semi-structured questionnaire. After the information collected, the systematization of the data was carried out, followed by using medicinal plants of mixed, diverse and common use as classification criteria. The results obtained were that the interviewees have considerable knowledge about medicinal plants, mentioning 48 species of plants used for the treatment of various diseases, with plants standing out for diseases with symptoms of cough, flu, inflammation and diarrhea, with different forms of preparation, among the most cited were decoction, tea, bath and juice. Despite the diverse knowledge about the use of species for medicinal purposes, this knowledge over time is lost and needs to be recovered through ethnobotanical study.

Introduction: In general, the creation system in Brazil has been characterized as an activity of great importance in the socio-economic market, as it generates employment and income opportunities. Aims: This work aims to carry out a brief bibliographical review regarding the use of sustainability indicators within the creation systems. Literature Review: The notion of sustainability is still a recent term and is under construction. Among the countless concepts of sustainability found in specialized literature, sustainability means the "possibility of continuously obtaining equal or superior conditions of life for a group of people and their successors in a given ecosystem. On the other hand, the concept of indicators, as well as for the concept of sustainability does not have a universal definition. Sustainability indicator “is an instrument that allows, based on its interpretation, to define the condition of a system as sustainable or not.” In other words, sustainability indicators can be understood as parameters, in which the assessment shows whether the limit, established according to the values and objectives that govern a given reality, was exceeded or respected.
The search for economic development, in its most varied production models, anthropic actions have caused great environmental impacts, changing the environment and consequently causing environmental risks in different ways. In this sense, this work aimed to map the use and occupation of land through the spatial temporal dynamics of the hydrographic landscape of the Rio Cabeludo, in the municipality of Ulianópolis - PA, using integrated techniques of remote sensing and geoprocessing. Through the images, the supervised classification of the area was carried out, using the ENVI software for digital image processing and ArcGIS software for the elaboration of the thematic map. Some classes were investigated, such as urban area, exposed soil, temporary tillage, permanent tillage, dense vegetation, scrub, pasture, hydrography, cloud, shade, it is noteworthy that not all classes were repeated in the analyzed period. The evaluation of the studied area showed that there were significant changes in some classes. The identified classes reflect the dynamics of agricultural activity and not commercial plantation areas or large tracts of land. The work showed the possibility and importance of using geoprocessing techniques to monitor the territory and manage the environment, enabling better forms of land occupation and use of natural resources.
