ABSTRAK Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) merupakan kumpulan gejala penyakit yang disebabkan oleh Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). Tatalaksana terapi HIV/AIDS adalah dengan pemberian antiretroviral (ARV) seumur hidup sehingga kepatuhan mengkonsumsi obat merupakan faktor penting untuk keberhasilan terapi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kepatuhan pasien HIV/AIDS alasan pasien tidak patuh mengkonsumsi obat. Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara faktor keyakinan, faktor dukungan sosial, faktor pendidikan, efek samping obat yang dialami pasien dengan kepatuhan. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah cross sectional. Penelitian dilakukan di poliklinik VCT RS Dr. H. Moch. Ansari Saleh Banjarmasin. Kepatuhan pasien diukur dengan menggunakan kuesioner MMAS-8 dan faktor kepatuhan diukur dengan kuesioner ACTG. Hasil analisis kepatuhan pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 32 (51,6%) pasien memiliki nilai kepatuhan yang tinggi. Hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa pasien memiliki keyakinan yang tinggi sebanyak 34 pasien (54,8%), pasien memiliki dukungan sosial yang tinggi sebanyak 45 pasien (72,6%), pasien yang tidak merasakan efek samping sebanyak 33 pasien (53,2%), dan alasan pasien lupa mengkonsumsi obat tertinggi adalah pasien merasa keadaan yang dialaminya baik-baik saja sebanyak 14 orang (46,6%). Terdapat korelasi yang signifikan antara kepatuhan dengan efek samping obat (p=0,002, r= -0.326). As the HIV/AIDS therapy has to be consumed over a lifetime for the patients, the compliance on taking antiretroviral (ARV) medications is essential. This study aims to evaluate the compliance of HIV/AIDS outpatients and the reasons of patients incompliance. This study also examine the correlation between the beliefs, social support, education, and adverse medication events factors with ARV medication’s incompliance. The study design was cross sectional study design. The research was done in policlinic of VCT Dr. H.MOCH.SALEH hospital, Banjarmasin. The incompliance was obtained by having the ACTG questioners. The results of the compliance analysis in this study was 32 (51,6%) patients have a high compliance score. The result also showed that 34 patients (54.8%) had great belief, 45 patients (72.6%) had great social support and 33 patients (53.2%) did not get the drug side effects. Furthermore, the reason not to comply with the medicine was due to their conditions which were considered fine without medication (34 patients (37.4%)).
