Neisseria meningitidis is an uncommon cause of acute bacterial conjunctivitis. One case of primary meningococcal conjunctivitis in a healthy 6-year-old boy is reported. The patient was initially treated with a topical instillation of polymyxin B, neomycin and gramicidin in ophthalmic solution, and this was followed by systemic rifampin once the diagnosis had been established. No ocular or systemic complications developed.
Systemic mycoses and their oral manifestations are very rare. We present a case of a 60-year-old man with an ulcerated lesion on the lateral border of the tongue. Histologic studies revealed a granulomatous fungal infection by Coccidioides immitis. After pharmacological treatment, the lesion resolved. Recently, northern Mexico has been reported to be an endemic zone of C. immitis infections; therefore it should be considered in the differential diagnosis of mouth lesions. A comprehensive clinical history, physical exploration, and complementary studies are essential for an accurate diagnosis.

Parry-Romberg Syndrome is a very rare condition with a very low prevalence. Therefore, it is important to report particular cases that will continue helping the medical community with the identification of such condition. We present a case of a young woman worried because she has observed a decrease in size of one side of her face as well as other symptomatology.
