Globalization has marked this XXI century. This continual change makes organizations prepare in advance to face the challenges posed by global markets and nonstop changing times Garzón (2011). These complex challenges organizations face today are assimilated by employees through active reponses that demand the perception of the market signals they function in. Consequently, they become real and genuine entrepreneurs. But any form of entrepreneurship also implies change and, beyond doubt, innovation. However, it is difficult to identify those employees who as entrepreneurs within organizations stand out and have an impact by generating creative projects (Pérez, 2011). This article attempts to prove how corporate entrepreneurship, within an organizational context is the true innovation booster.ResumenLa globalización ha marcado este siglo XXI. Este cambio continuo hace que las organizaciones se preparen con anticipación para enfrentar los desafíos planteados por los mercados globales y los tiempos de cambios ininterrumpidos Garzón (2011). Estos complejos desafíos que enfrentan las organizaciones hoy en día son asimilados por los empleados a través de respuestas activas que exigen la percepción de las señales de mercado en las que funcionan. En consecuencia, se convierten en verdaderos y genuinos emprendedores. Pero cualquier forma de emprendimiento también implica cambio y, sin lugar a dudas, innovación. Sin embargo, es difícil identificar a aquellos empleados que, como empresarios dentro de las organizaciones, se destacan y tienen un impacto al generar proyectos creativos (Pérez, 2011). Consequentemente, tornam-se empreendedores reais e genuínos. Mas qualquer forma de empreendedorismo também implica mudança e, sem dúvida, inovação. No entanto, é difícil identificar os funcionários que, como empreendedores dentro das organizações, se destacam e têm impacto gerando projetos criativos (Pérez, 2011). Este artigo tenta provar como o empreendedorismo corporativo, dentro de um contexto organizacional, é o verdadeiro impulsionador da inovação.
Diversos estudios han propuesto relaciones existentes entre la personalidad y el liderazgo, así como entre el género y la forma de liderar de las personas, sin embargo, pocos estudios se desarrollan con líderes de América Latina y establecen correlaciones entre: personalidad, género y liderazgo. El presente estudio busca caracterizar los estilos de liderazgo de hombres y mujeres precisando diferencias basadas en su personalidad. Para ello, se recopiló información de 498 personas, hombres y mujeres, mediante la auto aplicación de las versiones en español del instrumento de prácticas de liderazgo de Kouzes y Posner (IPL) y del indicador de personalidad propuesto por Myers Briggs (MBTI); la información fue analizada mediante software estadístico SPSS versión 25, encontrando que en los líderes colombianos los tipos de personalidad del Indicador de Tipo Myers Briggs se correlacionan con las prácticas de liderazgo del IPL, con diferencias estadísticamente significativas, entre hombres y mujeres. El estudio determinó entre otras, que los tipos de personalidad y el género influyen en la forma de liderar de mujeres y hombres, en Colombia.
Auto parts companies are an integral part of the automobile sector, which constitutes an important economic item within the metalworking industry. Its goal is to carry out productive work by integrating the largest possible number of automotive parts and national added value pieces. Corporate entrepreneurship, studied at both the academic and business levels, tries to generate new business schemes or the creation of new companies from the efficient use of available resources and the recognition of opportunities for the improvement and innovation of companies. This chapter shows how corporate entrepreneurship should be a key tool in auto parts organizational improvement. In order to deepen the understanding of the relationship between corporate entrepreneurship and auto parts companies, the study is complemented by the results obtained in the report of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) of Colombia.
The growth, transformation and development of new economic sectors of a country can be determined from the entrepreneurship. This entrepreneurial attitude manifests itself from different approaches, not only by the emergence of new companies, but also by decision-making and entrepreneurial activity, in certain situations. Business success can be attributed to the different influences, changes and pressures caused by the environment, or to special characteristics of entrepreneurs, personal aspects and environment. This article aims to analyze intra-entrepreneurship as a business renewal strategy, exploring the auto parts sector, through a qualitative study in a sample of companies in the auto parts sector in Colombia. The results conclude that despite the fact that intra-entrepreneurship is considered a strategic scenario for business renewal, Colombian auto parts companies do not promote their strategic development.
