Insomnia in the elderly is a problem that is quite high with increasing age, including groups who experience insomnia problems due to physical changes and social environmental conditions that have an impact on health problems. The purpose of this study has been identified the application of warm water soak therapy on the feet to reduce insomnia levels in the elderly. This research method is a case study design research, which is a form of research (inquiry) or case studies and interventions about a problem that has a specificity (particularity). The results of the research conducted showed a decrease in the level of insomnia in the elderly with insomnia after being given warm water soak therapy on the feet from severe insomnia to mild-moderate insomnia, mild-moderate insomnia to no insomnia, and severe insomnia to no insomnia. Evidenced by the results of the first respondent experienced a decrease in insomnia from 18 to 15, the second respondent experienced a decrease in insomnia from 18 to 14, the third respondent experienced a decrease in insomnia from 18 to 11, and the fourth respondent experienced a decrease in insomnia from 15 to 11. Conclusions from the intervention study of warm water soak therapy on the feet in the elderly has shown a significant reduction in insomnia levels. Keywords: Elderly, Insomnia, Warm Water Soak ABSTRAK Insomnia pada lansia merupakan masalah yang cukup tinggi dengan bertambahnya usia lansia termasuk golongan yang mengalami masalah insomnia akibat perubahan fisik dan keadaan sosial lingkungan sehingga berdampak pada masalah kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini teridentifikasi penerapan terapi rendam air hangat pada kaki terhadap penurunan tingkat insomnia pada lansia. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian case study design yaitu suatu bentuk penelitian (inquiry) atau studi kasus dan intervensi tentang suatu masalah yang memiliki sifat kekhususan (particularity). Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ada penurunan tingkat insomnia pada lansia insomnia setelah diberikan terapi rendam air hangat pada kaki dari insomnia berat menjadi insomnia ringan-sedang, insomnia ringan-sedang menjadi tidak insomnia, dan insomnia berat menjadi tidak insomnia. Dibuktikan dengan hasil responden pertama mengalami penurunan insomnia dari 18 menjadi 15, responden kedua mengalami penurunan insomnia dari 18 menjadi 14, responden ketiga mengalami penurunan insomnia dari 18 menjadi 11, dan responden keempat mengalami penurunan insomnia dari 15 menjadi 11. Kesimpulan dari penelitian intervensi terapi rendam air hangat pada kaki pada lansia telah menunjukkan penurunan tingkat insomnia yang signifikan. Kata Kunci: Insomnia; Lansia; Rendam Air Hangat
This study aimed to determine the function of the family with TB treatment in the DOTS program in the Sumenep District Health Center. This type of research is a survey using a cross-sectional design. The results showed that variables with a P-value <0.05 were affective function, socialization functions, and family care functions, and there were no variables with a P value> 0.05. The purpose of this study was to determine the analysis of marital therapy in the elderly, to provide an overview of mutual to improve the quality of sleep in the elderly, to find out the quality of sleep in the elderly before and after performing complementary therapy. The research design used is descriptive in the form of case studies. Results of research on subjects I and II can be seen differences in outcomes. Still, both of them experienced a decrease in the frequency of awakening and the duration of listening to mutual with the following results. Subject II experienced the sleep process of complementary therapy, which is faster by looking to shared 12 minutes 27 seconds. The subject can fall asleep while the subject I had a sleep process of 13 minutes 25 seconds. The results of the 2015 World Health Organization (WHO) survey, almost 87% of children experienced hospitalization. The results of the Basic Health Research survey found that the average data of children who were hospitalized in hospitals throughout Indonesia was 2.8% of the total number of children of 82,666 people. The aim of the study was to determine the effect of play therapy on children's anxiety during the hospitalization period. Research method: in this study using a literature review by using a search through Google Schoolar, and pubmed. From the 5 journals that have been reviewed, that there is an effect of play therapy on children's anxiety during the hospitalization period. The conclusion is that play therapy is an alternative non-pharmacological therapy that can affect children's anxiety during hospitalization. Stroke is a condition that occurs when blood flow to a part of the brain is suddenly disrupted. This condition can have psychological effects including hopelessness and low self-esteem. The purpose of this research is to identify ability optimization, which is a person's ability to move his body until there is independence for a person. This research method is descriptive and case study. The interventions carried out are teaching ROM and motivating patients to use their body parts so that the patient's self-esteem can increase. The results of this study are optimization in stroke patients. The conclusion is that increasing the ability and self-esteem of clients who have had a stroke really needs to be done in stroke patients and other patients. Intervensi yang dilakukan adalah mengajarkan ROM dan memotivasi pasien untuk menggunakan bagian tubuhnya sehingga harga diri pasien dapat meningkat. Kesimpulan adanya peningkatan kemampuan dan harga diri pada klien yang terkena stroke ini sangat perlu dilakukan pada pasien stroke dan pasien lain.
