This research is motivated by the disciplinary problems of male students in cooperative learning activities. The purpose of this research is to find out the problems of disciplinary actions by male students at SD Supriyadi Semarang in cooperative learning and their solutions. The subject of this study was class 2 A students. The approach used was descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. Test the credibility of the data through triangulation. Data will be analyzed through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research analysis show that male students take disciplinary action when utilizing the phenomenon of cooperation in learning, thereby disrupting the ongoing teaching and learning activities of other students, especially women. In addition, the results of group learning on male students tend to be lower than female students. Male students get an average score of 64.5 while female students get an average score of 83.3. Therefore, the teacher should make regulatory procedures to motivate students, and group students without discriminating against them.
Konteks penelitian ini tentang pemahaman koneksi matematis siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar kubus dan balok berdasarkan indikator pada aspek koneksi matematis menurut NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics) atau Dewan Nasional Guru Matematika. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengetahui pemahaman koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal pada pokok bahasan bangun ruang sisi datar kubus dan balok. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitaatif deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V Bilal di SD Muhammadiyah 17 Semarang. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah 4 peserta didik kelas V Bilal di SD Muhammadiyah 17 Semarang tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Data yang diambil melalui tes, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pemahaman koneksi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal materi kubus dan balok masih kurang dilihat dari indikator aspek koneksi matematis menurut NCTM yaitu aspek koneksi antar topik matematika, aspek koneksi dengan ilmu lain, aspek koneksi dengan dunia nyata atau kehidupan sehari-hari. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman koneksi matematis siswa di SD Muhammadiyah 17 Semarang masih sangat rendah. Hal tersebut berdasarkan studi yang dilaksanakan pada siswa kelas V Bilal, ditinjau dari rendahnya nilai rata-rata pemahaman koneksi matematis siswa sebesar 32,84 sementara nilai KKM yang harus dicapai oleh siswa sebesar 70.
