This study aims to analyze the effect of the human development index, unemployment, economic growth and duration of education on poverty rate of population in the Province of NTT. Secondary data used in the form of time series for the period 2011-2017 and cross sections for 22 city/regency of NTT. Eviews 9 is used to analyze the panel data. The results showed the human development index had a negative and significant effect on poverty rate; unemployment rate has a positive but unsignificant effect on poverty rate; economic growth has a negative but unsignificant effect on poverty rate; and, duration of education has a positive and significant effect on poverty rate. Simultaneously, the four independent variables have a significant effect on poverty. The determination analysis stated that the independent variables used have a relatively large ability to explain changes that occur in the poverty rate of the population in NTT Province.
This study to determine the money supply, interest rates, inflation, and imports toward rupiah exchange rates. The analysis method in this study used a quantitative approach that applies multiple regression models. Data used secondary data in the form of time series during the period of August 2016 until June 2019. The finding's results show that jointly money supply, interest rates, inflation, and imports have a significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate. While partially, the variable of money supply, interest rates, and imports has a positive and significant effect on the rupiah exchange rate. But the inflation rate has an insignificant effect on the Rupiah exchange rate. From the results of this study the government is expected to control the money supply and maintain the balance of payments by minimizing the amount of imports.
This study aims to determine the factors that affect food security of farm households in Timbulharjo Village, Sewon, Bantul. Factors used in this study were income, head of family education, age of head of household, marital status, number of family members and ownership of savings account. This study uses primary data obtained from direct interviews by asking a list of questions. The analytical technique used was logistic regression analysis, then completed by using the maximum likelihood method which included Nagelkerke R Square equivalent to coefficient of determination (R2), significance test Simultaneously (Overall Model Test) is equivalent to F test in linear regression, Wald test is equivalent to t test on OLS. The income and education of the head of the household have a positive effect on food security, while the number of family members has a negative effect on food security. Based on the partial test, the income variable, the education of the head of the household, the number of family members affect the food security, while the age of the head of the family, marital status, and savings ownership have no effect on food security.
