In this paper, an adaptive subband-notch-filterbased Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) cancelation method is developed. The use of a subband technique with a specific excision algorithm will relax the problem of multiple RFI sources. Doing so, the noise power is reduced and the second order Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) notch filter can be used instead of high order IIR filter. The performance of the proposed method is compared to the classical fullband method using the SteiglitzMcBride identification Method (SMM) based IIR Adaptive Notch Filter (ANF).
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
