The promise of the welfare of the capitalist economic system initiated three centuries ago is only realized for the owners of capital. Even in 2017 in The Great Devide, Joseph E. Stigliz reported increasingly alarming data that the wealth of 1% of the world's population is equivalent to 99% of the world's population. This article aims to describe: (1) The concept and philosophical value of welfare in Islam, and (2) historical authentic evidence of the creation of welfare in Islam. To obtain representative and comprehensive data, this article is compiled based on primary and secondary data. The Central Bureau of Statistics reports economic developments regarding the development of people's welfare in Indonesia and reports from world institutions such as the IMF, World Bank, as a comparison of global economic conditions. The data is then discussed under ideal conditions recorded in the golden history of Islam to find that prosperity in an Islamic economy is capable of being realized. The contribution of articles among scientific studies that discuss welfare is about concrete explanations or clear standards of welfare attainment. Namely, the nominal wealth to be called prosperous, an applicative and systematic method of achievement, and the affirmation that the Islamic economic system has proven to be effective in creating prosperity. Through the presentation of this article, it is hoped that efforts to create prosperity as well as equalize welfare will always be pursued through the application and contextualization of a proven and tested economic system.

Pandemic covid-19 has surprised people all over the world. It happen suddenly and give many impacts to all aspects of human’s life including education in Indonesia. Since, the minister of education and culture stated that all he activity of teaching and learning should be done at home by online learning, then it gives some positive and negative impact. The negative impacts are; not all teachers, studemts, or parents have a facility to access internet, nor use IT well, for example theachers who are old or students of pre school still need their parents’ help. Then, not all parent can earn money to buy internet quota.  Moreover, the positives impacts are; the students become familiar to use IT and it is safe for them to avoid covid-19 outbreak by studying at home.

The needs of students are the main driving force for the community around the campus in running a business around the campus. The research focus which is the main study in this study is of two kinds, the first is the reason for the community to open a business around the Al-Khairat Pamekasan Islamic Institute campus and second, the impact of the Al-Khairat Pamekasan Islamic Institute campus on the economic business of the surrounding community. The purpose of this research is to describe what has been stated in the focus of the research. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that most of the reasons why people open businesses around the Al-Khairat Pamekasan Islamic Institute campus is the potential for huge profits because of its strategic location, located around the campus and right on the side of the highway that connects Sumenep-Pamekasan, Sampang-Pamekasan. Based on the results of research that has been carried out by researchers, suggestions that can be put forward to the Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan village community in general and the Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan village community who are around the Al-Khairat Pamekasan Islamic Institute campus in particular, in order to take advantage of the existence of a campus that has clear opportunities The benefit is very large if you open a business there, especially where they live close to the campus, so that transportation is more efficient and can even open a business at home and it is hoped that the village head and the village officials of Plakpak Pegantenan Pamekasan will provide training to the community in increasing village economic growth
