Early mobilization (EM) is defined as the application of physical activity within the first two to five days of critical illness or injury in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). EM is proven to be a safe practice; it is also been described as feasible and with great short to long term benefits. In order to
Abstract. 2014 An X-ray small-angle scattering apparatus is described, using a bent quartz focussing monochromator, operating with linear collimation, and a Geiger counter. Absolute intensity measurements are performed by comparing the scattered intensities with the energy of the incident beam. Carefully calibrated filters are used in order to measure the incident beam. Discussion of the experimental technique and analysis of the accuracy of the results.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
