William G. Gove, wood utilization forester with the Vermont Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation received his bachelors degree in forestry from the University of Maine in 1952. He worked for 15 years in private industry in such activities as timber and log procurement, logging supervision, and sawmill management. In 1967 he joined Vermont's Department of Forests, Parks and Recreation to serve in the capacity of utilization forester. He offers services to the State's industries in such fields as ravj-material procurement, manufacturing systems, marketing, and new industry establishment.
