Sistem SmartGreenhouse tipe Hidroponik tanaman Holtikultura model tanam Nutrient Film Technique (NFT) dikembangkan dengan melibatkan beberapa instrumen pendukung seperti Mikrokontroler Atmega328, kemudian beberapa sensor seperti sensor pH, Sensor Suhu dan kelembaban, Sensor cahaya yang dipakai untuk mendeteksi keadaan suhu dan kelembaban disekitar sistem, mendeteksi status keadaan cahaya disekitar sistem sebagai input untuk mengontrol nyala lampu pada sistem Hidroponik, mendeteksi status keasaman atau kebasaan atau pH dari larutan nutrisi yang diberikan pada tanaman dan aktuator berupa relay board.
Output oleh sistem ini berupa informasi suhu dan kelembaban, dan status pH nutrisi yang ditampilkan pada sebuah halaman web kontrol.
Sistem yang dikembangkan juga mengontrol status on/off beberapa instrumen seperti pompa air, pompa nutrisi, kipas angin dan lampu.
Hasil pengujian sistem, setiap sensor bekerja dengan baik dengan mendeteksi keadaan suhu dan kelembaban, keadaan intensitas cahaya dan keadaan pH larutan nutrisi dan mampu melakukan kontrol terhadap beberapa instrumen utama sistem seperti pompa, lampu dan kipas secara web based
